First revealed in November 2017, the production Tesla Roadster will roll out in 2023.
Tesla Roadster prices are expected to start from $250,000 (about Rs 1.85 crore) for the first 1,000 models. Subsequent units will be priced from $200,000 (Rs 1.48 crore), with reservations available for £38,000 (Rs 34 lakh).
Tesla claims the Roadster goes from 0-100kph in 1.9sec and goes on to hit 100mph/160kph in 4.2sec and achieve a quarter-mile sprint in 8.9sec.
