The global slowdown in automotive retails has weighed heavy for Tata Motors Group. Global wholesales in Q4 FY2020 including Jaguar Land Rover, at 231,929 units are lower by 35 percent, compared to the same period last year.
The global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range was 72,608 units, down 49 percent compared to the same period last year. Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles at 159,321 units are lower by 26 percent YoY.
Global wholesales for luxury car brand, Jaguar Land Rover was 126,979 vehicles (JLR number for Q4 FY2020 includes CJLR volumes of 6,288 units). Jaguar wholesales for the quarter was 32,940 vehicles, while Land Rover was 94,039 vehicles.
The minor difference with respect to cumulative volumes of monthly Tata Motors data is attributed to the quarterly reconciliation process.
