PT. Suzuki Indomobil Motor (SIM), Suzuki’s Indonesian subsidiary, has announced the launch of four middle and large displacement motorcycle models.

The company says in line with the increase in income, the need for middle and large displacement motorcycles for touring and leisure purposes is increasing in Indonesia. By introducing middle and large displacement models as an addition to the 250cc sportbike Inazuma launched in 2012 and expanding the lineup, SIM will seek to appeal the Suzuki brand and expand the sales.

The four models which will be launched are: on-road sportbikes Hayabusa and GSR750; sport adventure tourer V-Strom650 ABS; and middle displacement scooter Burgman 200. While the Hayabusa, GSR750, and V-Strom650 ABS will be imported from Japan, the Burgman 200 will be imported from Thailand. The Burgman 200 is produced in Thailand and exported worldwide including Japan, Europe, North America, and Oceania.
