Ricardo has opened a new technical facility in Germany, located close to the luxury carmaker Porsche AG R&D centre in the town of Weissach, Baden-Württemberg, in south-western Germany.

Ricardo opens new office in Weissach, home to Porsche’s R&D

Ricardo has opened a new technical facility in Germany, located close to the luxury carmaker Porsche AG R&D centre in the town of Weissach, Baden-Württemberg, in south-western Germany.
The new office is intended to support future research, engineering and development projects carried out on behalf of Porsche AG. “The launch of our new project facility at Weissach underscores the importance that we attach to maintaining a close working relationship with our customers,” said Dr. Robert Hentschel, managing director, Ricardo Deutschland. 
“Ricardo has partnered Porsche AG very successfully over the years. With our comprehensive and well-equipped technical centre at Schwäbisch Gmünd, our growing network of project offices close to our major clients, and the back-up of the global Ricardo organisation, Ricardo Deutschland continues to further reinforce its position as one of the German automotive sector’s leading, most capable and best trusted of engineering partners.”
