Global sales for Rolls-Royce have risen by over 30 percent in the six months to the end of June 2014, the manufacturer has revealed.
The British firm won't be drawn on specific sales figures for each model in its range, but has reported that its success is down to continued demand for the Phantom, Ghost and Wraith model lines.
Although growth was strong in all regions in the first half of the year, European demand was particularly strong, with a 60 percent rise in sales. The US and Chinese markets also experienced double-digit increases, while sales in the Asia-Pacific region were up by 40 percent, and those in the Middle East up by 30 percent.
One of the strongest-performing countries for the brand was Germany, where sales have doubled.
The firm says that alongside its standard sales, the number of cars being modified through its bespoke service is also running at record levels.
Confirming that the brand was on target to achieve record sales in 2014, Rolls-Royce boss Torsten Müller-Ötvös said: "This is an excellent half-year result and demonstrates the continued confidence that our customers have in our company and our fine cars."
This latest news comes off the back of record sales for the company in 2013, when it sold a total of 3,650 cars.
