Christmas and the holidays that lead into the New Year are a great time to indulge in your hobby. If it happens to be building scale models, then here’s the latest from the world of two wheels.
Renowned scale model builder Pocher, which rolled out its first 1:8 scale model kit back in 1966 (the Fiat 130 HP F2), has made its first motorcycle kit model. Over 50 years, Pocher has developed and marketed some of the world’s most impressive car kits in 1:8 scale – from Rolls-Royce to Porsche, to Bugatti, Mercedes-Benz and Ferrari.
The Ducati 1299 Panigale S stands out as among the most exciting superbikes for its technological superiority. The lightweight (166.5kg) speed machine develops 205bhp at 10500 rpm and 145 Nm at 8750 rpm.
Made of high quality die-cast metal, plastics and rubber, the 1299 Panigale S Pocher is extremely faithful in every detail to the Ducati superbike. Pocher, which always produces car models in scale 1: 8, has introduced this all-new 1: 4 scale model.
The 1:4 Panigale is made of premium metal die-cast and comes ready painted. The kit is easy to build and supplied with detailed instructions. The model consists of more than 600 parts made of an assortment of materials including metal, rubber and premium quality plastic. Most of the parts are simply screwed. Wheels, transmission chain, front and rear suspension, brake and clutch levers are all functional and offer an incomparable level of detail.
Most of the pieces of the model are simply screwed: wheels, chains of transmission, front and rear suspension, brake and clutch levers are all functional and offer an unparalleled level of detail. Once assembled, the size of the Ducati 1299 Panigale S stands at 518.7 x 202.5 x 277.5mm and weighs 5 kilograms.
The new model Pocher is on sale in stores from the end of December in all Asian countries and from the beginning of January in Europe. The model can also be bought at www.pocher.com.
