After the Dragster 800 RR LH44a and then the F4 LH44, Italian motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta and Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton have reunited to create a new model.
Like its predecessors, the new Brutale 800 RR LH44 carries the British driver’s initials and bristles with dedicated technical and aesthetic features. It is set to go into production by June 2018.
MV Agusta says only 144 of this 140hp, 172kg motorcycle will be built. The Brutale 800RR LH44 carries creative inputs from Lewis Hamilton and MV Agusta Design Center (CRC). The colour options available are black, red and white and the entire range consists of the Lewis Hamilton logo and his race number 44.
The midsize naked bike comes with a lightweight and advanced three-cylinder 800cc, 4-valve, DOHC type engine that is compliant with Euro 4 emissions. It also comes with advanced technologies, such as the counter-rotating crankshaft and quick-shift system EAS 2.0.
This new bike consists of new materials and components such as an extensive use of special designed carbon fibre components, unique colour scheme graphics and a ceramic-based coating that is resistant to ultra-high temperatures on the exhaust system. The components are machined from light alloy billet. Even the tank cap and the engine oil filler cap have been CNC machined. It also includes a CNC clutch cover guard as well as an alternator guard.
The prices of this premium motorcycle have not been revealed.
