The 2019 Driving Cities Index has ranked Mumbai 100th out of 100 cities worldwide, due to high levels of traffic congestion, fatalities and affordability.
To determine a city’s infrastructure, a number of factors were examined, such as the number of cars per capita, traffic congestion, road and public transport quality, and also air quality among others.
