The pact with H2GS is for supply of almost CO₂-free steel for Mercedes-Benz’s European press shops and to establish a sustainable steel supply chain in North America.
In the new process, H2GS uses hydrogen and electricity from 100% renewable energy sources instead of coking coal in steel production.
