Mazda and Toyota set up JV to make cars in the US

Vehicle assembly plant with annual production capacity of 300,000 units will be built in Huntsville, Alabama. First cars to roll out will be Mazda's upcoming crossover model and the Toyota Corolla.

Mazda Motor Corporation and Toyota Motor Corporation have set up a new joint-venture company called Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, USA Inc (MTMUS) that will produce vehicles in Huntsville, Alabama starting in 2021.
