Mann + Hummel GmbH has bagged Ford’s World Excellence Award in the Aligned Business Framework (ABF) category as one of nine suppliers to the American carmaker. The filtration systems manufacturer has been a supplier for many years to a small circle of ABF partners, which are characterised by special innovation and competitiveness and a global presence.
A total of 52 trophies were presented this year to suppliers who exceeded expectations of the car manufacturer and have distinguished themselves from their competitors in a total of 10 categories. "With the Ford Excellence Awards, we want our partners to say thank you," said Hau Thai-Tang, vice-president of Ford Shopping Group, on the annual award ceremony held in Dearborn earlier this month.
"The award is a great recognition for all the efforts and many hours of good teamwork with Ford. The award is an incentive and an obligation for us to further continue working in the future on the mutual success," said Alfred Weber, CEO of Mann + Hummel.
