Kia to offer ride hailing PBVs to drivers on the Uber platform

Kia plans to develop and offer PBVs tailored for Uber drivers; the specialised PBVs will offer innovative mobility improvements while supporting Uber in achieving its 2040 zero-emission goal.

Kia Corporation and Uber have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at this week’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, committing the two companies to collaborate on Kia’s planned development and deployment of PBVs. Kia had revealed five 'Platform Beyond Vehicles' (PBV) concepts at CES 2024 on January 9.
