Johnson Controls develops new battery system for advanced start-stop vehicles

Johnson Controls says the new 12-volt Lithium-ion battery can achieve 8 percent fuel savings in an Advanced Start-Stop vehicle.

As part of its comprehensive display at the IAA 2015 in Frankfurt, Johnson Controls is debuting its 12-volt Lithium-ion battery. The company says the battery can achieve 8 percent fuel savings in an Advanced Start-Stop vehicle.
