JLR’s global sales down 6 percent in February
Jaguar Land Rover has reported global sales of 28,689 vehicles in February 2015, down 5.90 percent compared to 30,487 vehicles sold in February 2014.
Jaguar Land Rover has reported global sales of 28,689 vehicles in February 2015, down 5.90 percent compared to 30,487 vehicles sold in February 2014.
Land Rover delivered 24,185 vehicles in February, down 1,002 units and Jaguar retailed 4,504 vehicles, down 796 units.
The company says, against the background of growing demand for the Jaguar and Land Rover brands, this expected change in sales is largely due to the run out of the Land Rover Freelander model and product launch plans, which will see the introduction of new models in the coming months.
Commenting on the month, Andy Goss, Jaguar Land Rover Group sales operations director said: "The Range Rover achieved its best ever February performance this month, with sales of 4,310 vehicles. This was also the case for the Jaguar F-Type, which retailed 795 vehicles in February. With sales underway for the Discovery Sport and soon to begin for the Jaguar XE, we are excited to see the success of our ever-evolving product portfolio."
