Firestone Industrial Products (FSIP) has announced the introduction of an expanded range of parts for the European commercial vehicle aftermarket. The expanded product line-up includes 12 new aftermarket air springs for Mercedes Benz Actros MP4, Volvo FH4/FM4 and DAF CF/XF. FSIP is also the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for Euro 6 trucks.

With these additional products, FSIP increases its coverage to serve independent commercial vehicle workshops, haulage fleets with individually owned workshops, and parts wholesalers. The company says these replacement air springs are manufactured and tested according to the same standards as original equipment products, which are specifically designed to meet the requirements of the commercial vehicle manufacturers.

“The extension of the range is clearly to support our aftermarket partners in Europe, Middle East and Africa. We believe it’s a great time to introduce these products in order to serve customers who are searching for the replacement of the OE equivalents,” said Jacek Okonski, aftermarket sales director, Firestone Industrial Products. “Knowing that Firestone is one of the leading manufacturers in the OE market, we use our expertise and knowledge to develop aftermarket products that meet the highest quality standards.”

The new products were released on September 1 and are widely available throughout Europe. FSIP is part of Bridgestone Corporation, the world’s largest tyre and rubber company, and benefits from its expertise, research and development efforts.
