EVs drive Volkswagen Group’s strong European sales in October

Retail sales in Europe decreased by just 0.1% to 1,040,390 units in October 2024, with the Volkswagen Group taking pole position with over 287,000 registrations and 11% growth which sees its market share rise to 27.6%, the highest in three years. While the Skoda Enyaq became Europe’s best-selling EV, Tesla sales fell by 24%, and the volume of Chinese car brands rose by 24% YoY.
