Dana Holding Corporation, which supplies highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that help improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains, has received Hino Trucks’ ‘Excellence in Quality Improvement’ award.  Dana accepted the award, which recognises superior improvement in parts-per-million (PPM) defect performance at Hino's annual supplier business meeting this month.

Dana supplies driveshafts to Hino, Toyota Group company, from assembly facilities in Lima, Ohio, and Jodalli, Karnataka, India. These products are used on a wide range of Hino medium-duty trucks as well as Toyota Tundra pickup trucks.

"Our commitment to quality is unmatched in the commercial-vehicle market, which is why leading truck manufacturers like Hino turn to Dana for innovative driveline products that deliver superior performance," said Pat D'Eramo, president of Dana Commercial Vehicle Driveline Technologies. "This quality award from Hino validates our continuous, systematic approach to process improvement and the long-term value we deliver to manufacturers and vehicle buyers alike."
