Chinese auto industry wants to be the leading market for autonomous and electric cars too

EVs or New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) as they are called in China, sold over 330,000 units in 2015, a 279 percent jump over the 87,000 units sold in 2014. That makes China the second largest EV market in the world, after the USA.
