Bosch Rexroth put up a strong show at Bauma China which ended yesterday. The Rexroth Technology Demonstrator for off-highway technology, a six-by-three-metre model, was showcased depicting the most important system developments affecting the company.
The Technology Demonstrator (TeD) shows the latest developments from Bosch Rexroth, including the hydraulic start-stop function HSS for compact equipment, the HVT power split drive the joint venture Dana Rexroth Transmission Systems and the HTA Hydraulic Traction Assistant for heavy goods vehicles on rough terrain.
"Our 'TeD' shows how much potential can be released even if we consider vehicles as a system and not merely as the sum of individual features or components," explains Peter Dschida, Sales and Business Management Mobile applications at Bosch Rexroth. The management of the complex interplay of diesel control, cooling, exhaust aftertreatment, working and driving hydraulic, electrical or hydraulic hybrid technology is a challenge, but they are also the key to further significant progress in the area of mobile machines. Dschida: "And here, Rexroth Bosch Group as part of a competitive advantage when it comes to developing intelligent and innovative solutions in terms of energy and cost efficiency, comfort and ease of use."
Dschida assumes that modern electronics will increase in construction machinery and other mobile commercial vehicles, because with the electronics, the various functional modules and systems bring together. "It would be a mistake to neglect the component area, because the systems and functions of modern machines depend on the quality and competitiveness of the underlying components," stresses Dschida. Therefore, Rexroth provides comprehensive system solutions in addition to a variety of innovations in the components sector.
