Bosch plans to invest nearly 370 million euros in North America this year.
In its plant in Anderson, South Carolina, Bosch uses smartwatches that pass on manufacturing data to associates.
The company has been conducting automated driving tests on public roads since early 2013 in the US and in Germany.
Bosch began testing automated driving on public roads in 2013. The latest test vehicles are based on the Tesla Model S.
Bosch bullish on growth in North America

Bosch says its business in North America continues to develop very well. In the first six months of 2015, it has recorded a significant increase in sales in the region, in which it employs nearly 29,000 associates.
