BMW's entry-level 7 series to get 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine

The new motor will power the new 730i entry-level variant; borrowed from the BMW 3-series.

BMW has introduced an entry-level trim for its new 7-series with the option of a new petrol engine. Badged 730i, the new model uses a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol motor borrowed from the smaller BMW 330i and the Mini Cooper John Cooper Works hot hatchback.
