Automechanika Frankfurt 2016: Spotlight on paintwork and bodywork repairs

The paintwork and bodywork sector is set to give an impressive demonstration of its innovativeness at the 2016 edition of Automechanika Frankfurt from September 13-17, 2016.

Thirty-five percent of the exhibitors in Hall 11 come from Germany and include companies such as Festool GmbH, SATA GmbH & Co. KG, Vosschemie GmbH, WOLF Anlagen-Technik GmbH & Co. KG, MIPA SE, Sehon Innovative Lackieranlagen, Audatex AUTOonline GmbH, Peter Kwasny GmbH and ANEST IWATA Deutschland GmbH. Other important exhibitor nations are Italy, the Netherlands and Poland, and visitors can look forward to numerous innovations, especially in the fields of workshop equipment, repairs, paintwork and corrosion protection.

‘Collision Damage Repair Street’ to supplement ‘Collision Talk’

In 2014, ‘Collision Talk’ was the best-attended event of the lecture programme. As before, it will be held in the Portalhaus building, which adjoins Hall 11 where everything revolves around the world of bodywork and paintwork during Automechanika.

New is the ‘Collision Damage Repair Street’ where 14 workshop-equipment suppliers, paint manufacturers and collision-damage service providers show process-optimisation solutions. “We are delighted with the expansion of the successful event concept this year,” says Olaf Mußhoff, director of Automechanika Frankfurt. “This enables us to strengthen Automechanika as the meeting place for companies and decision makers from the collision-damage market and show solutions for process optimisation in the workshop.”

The second ‘Collision Talk’ will once again focus on issues of topical importance to the collision-damage repair sector. The topics to be discussed with leading decision makers from the insurance and collision-damage management sectors, as well as the trade associations, include invoice deductions, price dumping through flat-rate offers, automobile service and the increasing competition.

The Talk key speakers are Gerhard Witte (ControlExpert), Thomas Melzer (Axalta Coating Systems), Thomas Geck (HUK-COBURG), Steffen Struwe (Innovation Group), Stefan Artz (Service Partnernetzwerk) and ZKF President Peter Börner.
