British supercar manufacturer Aston Martin is building a stronger presence in the important Asia Pacific region with the news that it is further expanding its team there and launching a new limited company – Aston Martin Japan Ltd.
From January 5, 2015, the new incorporated business was up and running in Tokyo. The significant move puts Aston Martin’s Japanese operation on a stable, professional and committed footing, and is part of the brand’s plans for a bright future in Japan.
Kozo Hayashi, has joined as head of finance for the Asia Pacific region and for Aston Martin Japan. Nancy Chen recently moved into the role of Dealer Development Manager. Ms Chen has a key role in supporting Aston Martin’s growth in the region as the brand looks to capitalise on increased interest in, and awareness of, its exciting range of sports cars across the Asia Pacific region.
Existing team members Shoichi Terashima and Kevin Wall will be continuing in their roles as Operations Manager (Asia) and Operations Manager (Pacific) respectively.
Finally, in a further sign of the British brand’s ambitious plans for development in the region, Aston Martin is also opening new regional headquarters in Singapore in early 2015.

The establishment of the limited company in Japan, along with our investment in people and facilities across the region, signals very clearly our determination to make Aston Martin a key player in the high luxury sports car sector in these important and growing markets.”
