Aston Martin opened its biggest dealership, Aston Martin Tokyo, today in the heart of Tokyo’s Aoyama district. Aston Martin Tokyo is expected to become the carmaker’s largest dealer by volume worldwide and is part of the British luxury marque’s £500 million trade and investment programme in Japan announced in August. The state-of-the-art 1,000 square metre facility includes both the dealership and a new global brand centre spread across adjacent buildings.
Known as ‘The House of Aston Martin Aoyama’, the company’s first global brand centre will fully open for business on November 21. Created to showcase all aspects of the Aston Martin experience, the brand centre covers three floors and includes vehicle displays, a shop and space for relaxing and entertaining.

Presiding over the opening ceremony, Dr Andy Palmer, president and CEO, Aston Martin, said, “As the second largest luxury car market worldwide, Japan is key to Aston Martin’s future success. As we map out our global retail presence, we are confident that Aston Martin Tokyo will quickly become our largest dealer by volume in the world.”
The dealership is operated by leading automotive retailer Sky Group, which already manages 26 dealer facilities for a variety of brands across Tokyo, Kanagawa and Niigata. Aston Martin Tokyo becomes the organisation’s first dedicated sales space in the capital, focused around an eight-car showroom displaying the brand’s full range of sports cars.
Shigeto Kasai, CEO of the Sky Group, said, “Since officially starting Aston Martin Tokyo operations in April, we are delighted to have opened our new permanent Aoyama home. It is an honour to work with Aston Martin, and we look forward to delivering first-class service commensurate with such a renowned British luxury brand to our Tokyo customers.”
Aston Martin has a growing dealer network in Japan, covering five major cities: Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Hiroshima.
