The new Bentley Flying Spur W12 S is capable of 202mph (323kph), making it the fastest four-door Bentley to ever make production.
The S uses the familiar W12 engine but power is up to 626bhp and torque 605lb ft, enabling a 4.5sec 0-100kph time despite the all-wheel-drive car’s hefty 2.5-ton kerbweight.
Along with the added performance, the W12 S gets unique interior and exterior styling features, and revised suspension settings that are claimed to offer improved body control and handling without sacrificing comfort.
There are also optional carbon ceramic brakes available with red or black painted calipers.
To mark out its model-topping performance, the W12 S wears a Beluga gloss radiator grille and light surrounds, a rear diffuser and optional carbon fibre veneer.
The car sits on 21-inch seven-spoke wheels with a new gloss-black finish, or optional 21-inch five-spoke directional wheels finished in either gloss black or a dark tint.
The cabin gains a unique black finish to the fascia and door trim; a satin carbon-fibre finish is optional. There’re also W12 S headrest emblems, W12 S treadplates and a three-spoke Sport Plus steering wheel and knurled gearshift paddles, which are only available as options on other models.
The Flying Spur W12 S’s cabin can be customised with 17 hide colours, and unique contrast stitching for diamond quilting and the Sport Plus steering wheel.
Pricing for the new model is yet to be revealed, but expect a significant increase on the £154,900 (Rs 1.52 crore) starting figure of the regular W12 model in the UK.
