The paper bridge was hand-made in the ancient water city of Suzhou, China, famous for its bridges.
54,390 sheets of paper were used to construct the bridge.
It took three days to construct the bridge.
The bridge was built in partnership with British artist Steve Messam and specialist British paper manufacturer James Cropper PLC.
The arch technique is used for 3000 years. By packing the paper tightly, the bridge requires no adhesives.
