The engineering sector in India, catering to a variety of related industries such as infrastructure, power, mining, oil and gas, refinery and steel, comprises the largest industrial sector in the country. Driven by increased investment in infrastructure and industrial production, the sector has witnessed remarkable growth over the last few years. With extensive infrastructural plans like the National Infrastructural Pipeline (NIP) in progress, the industry is expected to flourish further, playing a significant role in boosting India’s economy.
One such major player in the industry is Technocon Group of Companies. Speaking of the BS6 transition in particular, he said, “Migrating to newer emission norms has been an important task, and our group of technical experts in the company has sought timely support from the Tata Motors service team. They have really assisted us in mitigating the challenges that have arisen due to the transition by conducting workshops and training programs on the same.”
