Tata Motors sells 553,585 cars and SUVs in FY2025, EV sales down 13%

After four fiscals of strong growth, dampened demand for its EVs due to new and heightened competition drags Tata Motors’ passenger vehicle numbers, which are down 3% YoY on its record FY2024 sales. The car and SUV maker has just about managed to retain its third rank amongst passenger vehicle OEMs, with a hard-charging Mahindra & Mahindra only 2,098 units behind in FY2025.
