Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, UP and Delhi top buyers of electric LCVs in January-September

The electric light goods carrier sub-segment, which saw retail sales of 4,689 units in the first 9 months of 2024, sees its share of the India’s e-CV market jump to 59% from 44% a year ago. In terms of state-wise retails, Maharashtra leads with a 21% share in an e-LCV market which is seeing entry of new players and a host of new models targeted at zero-emission mid- and last-mile transportation.
