Ashok Leyland February sales volumes decline 6% to 16,451 units

The CV maker saw a considerable reduction in the sales of M&HCV trucks, while LCVs remained flat, and buses saved the blemishes with a notable rise in volumes.

Chennai-based commercial vehicle (CV) manufacturer, Ashok Leyland, clocked sales of 16,451 units in February 2024, registering a 6 percent year-on-year de-growth (February 2023: 17,578). M&HCVs comprised nearly 65 percent of the company’s total volumes, and their cumulative sales were pegged at 10,744 units (February 2023: 11,767 / -9%).
