Genesys International - a key player in the mapping technology domain - is actively scouring Indian and even global streets with topographic mapping tools, collecting data critical for infrastructure planning.

The company deploys airborne LiDAR systems which generate dense, 3D point clouds that catalog the minutiae of the cityscape. In this interview, Sameer Sankhe, Chief Digital Officer of the company talks about the surgical accuracy with which the data is captured to produce high-quality maps for route optimisation and efficiency improvement, as well enabling ADAS and autonomy features for automakers.
