MY EV Store launches IME Rapid e-scooter at Rs 99,000

MY EV Store, a multi-brand e-mobility retail space, has launched its flagship electric two-wheeler, the IME Rapid. The model comes in three variants, offering a range of 100, 200, or 300 kilometers on a single charge, along with a top speed of 80 kmph. The pricing for the IME Rapid ranges from Rs. 99,000 to Rs. 1.48 lakh, catering to a wide range of customer preferences and requirements.

Puneeth Gowda, Founder and Managing Director of MY EV Store, speaking on the launch stated, "The rising levels of air pollution in India demand urgent action, and electric vehicles offer the most viable solution. Nevertheless, apprehensions surrounding limited range have hindered mass EV adoption. With the IME Rapid, we have shattered this barrier and introduced a scooter that surpasses all previous benchmarks, making sustainable transportation not only viable but also convenient."

The IME Rapid will initially launch in Bengaluru and subsequently extend its presence across Karnataka, redefining the dynamics of the electric vehicle industry in India. “The company is currently focusing on a Franchise Owned Company Operated (FOCO) model to launch in Bengaluru. We will soon be expanding our IME Rapid range in 15 to 20 cities across Karnataka,” added Gowda.

Powered by a 2000 W motor, and battery capacity of 60V- 26/52/72 AH respectively, the scooter achieves a top speed of 80 km/hr, ensuring both efficiency and performance. To further boost customer confidence, MY EV Store will offer warranty and easy spare parts availability across Bengaluru to facilitate hassle-free servicing of vehicles for all customers.

As part of its commitment to accessibility, MY EV Store has partnered with financial institutions, including Kotak Mahindra, Shriram Finance, and Manappuram Finance, to facilitate hassle-free and simplified financial schemes for customers.
