Varroc Appoints Liselott Kilaas as Independent Director

Varroc, a global tier-1 automotive supplier, has announced the appointment of Liselott Kilaas as an Independent Director on its Board of Directors. The appointment is part of the company’s approach to strengthening its leadership with international experience and diverse industry perspectives.
Tarang Jain, Chairman & Managing Director of Varroc, stated that Kilaas’ expertise and strategic insights will contribute to the company’s growth and global operations.
Kilaas, acknowledging her new role, said she looks forward to supporting Varroc’s strategic direction through her experience.
With an MBA from IMD Business School and a master’s degree in mathematics and statistics, Kilaas has held leadership roles in several multinational corporations. Her professional background spans sectors such as healthcare, technology, finance, industrial operations, and sustainability. She has extensive experience in strategic leadership, operational management, corporate governance, and sustainability, which she brings to her position at Varroc.
Varroc Engineering Ltd is a tier-1 automotive component manufacturer incorporated in 1988. The company produces and supplies electrical-electronic components, polymers, metallic parts, and exterior lighting systems to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across various vehicle segments, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and off-highway vehicles.
In FY24, Varroc reported an income of ₹75,795 million. The company employs over 7,000 individuals, including more than 750 R&D engineers. It operates 36 manufacturing facilities globally, supported by seven research and development centers. Varroc also holds over 100 patents in its portfolio.
Varroc’s research and development (R&D) efforts focus on innovation in automotive lighting, lightweight materials, and energy-efficient solutions. The company has made advancements in LED lighting technology, electronic control units, and sustainable materials to align with industry trends toward electrification and emission reduction.
