Toyota Kirloskar Motor Announces Land Cruiser 300 Bookings Starting at Rs. 2.31 Crore
The imported SUV features twin-turbo V6 diesel engine, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, and is available in two grades with uniform nationwide ex-showroom pricing.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced today that bookings are now open for the highly anticipated Land Cruiser 300, available at all Toyota dealerships across India. The flagship SUV is being offered in two variants – the ZX grade priced at Rs. 2.31 crore and the GR-S grade at Rs. 2.41 crore (ex-showroom prices, uniform nationwide).
Imported as a completely-built unit from Japan, the Land Cruiser 300 represents the latest evolution of Toyota's premium SUV lineage that spans over seven decades. The vehicle introduces the new GR-S variant featuring specialized off-road suspension tuning and differential locks for extreme terrain handling.
The new model is built on Toyota's TNGA-F platform, which company officials state delivers improved rigidity while reducing overall weight. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged V6 diesel engine producing 227kW (304 hp) at 4000 rpm and 700 Nm of torque between 1600-2600 rpm, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
"The Land Cruiser 300 is the ultimate expression of strength, sophistication, and off-road prowess," said Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President of Sales-Service-Used Car Business at Toyota Kirloskar Motor. "Whether conquering extreme terrains or navigating city roads, this SUV ensures an unmatched blend of comfort, performance, and adventure, making it the perfect companion for those who demand excellence."
The interior features a 31.24cm touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four-zone climate control, and a JBL premium 14-speaker audio system. Safety features include Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 with pre-collision systems, lane departure alerts, and adaptive cruise control.
Toyota is offering the vehicle in two exterior colors – Precious White Pearl and Attitude Black – with interior options varying by grade. The ZX variant comes with either Neutral Beige or Black interior themes, while the GR-S offers GRS Black or Black and Dark Red upholstery options.
Industry analysts note that the Land Cruiser 300 enters the ultra-premium SUV segment where it will compete with established European luxury brands. The model's traditionally strong resale value and reputation for reliability are expected to be key selling points for prospective buyers.
