Lexus India temporarily suspends bookings for LM 350h

Lexus India has announced a temporary halt on bookings for the LM 350h, effective from 21st September 2024, due to ongoing supply challenges and the need to address current pending orders. The LM 350h, introduced at the Auto Expo 2023, has received significant interest, and Lexus India expresses appreciation to customers for their support. The company is working to resume bookings as soon as possible.

Lexus LM platform, styling
The Lexus LM is based on the same GA-K modular platform as the Vellfire. At the front, it boasts a huge spindle grille, sleek LED headlamps and vertical housings for the fog lamps. Moving to the sides, it features a large glasshouse with a subtle kink at the B-pillar and has sliding rear doors. The biggest highlight of the rear-end of the MPV is the full-width LED tail-light setup, with Lexus lettering placed atop instead of an emblem. The LM measures 5,130mm in length, 1,890mm in width and 1,945mm in height.

Lexus LM powertrain
Powering the Lexus LM is a  2.5-litre, 4-cylinder self-charging hybrid engine with a combined power output of 250hp and a 239Nm peak torque rating, and comes mated to an eCVT gearbox. The engine works in tandem with a nickelmetal hydride battery, that is claimed to offer a high output and fuel economy. The MPV comes with Lexus’ E-Four all-wheel drive system.

Lexus LM interior, features, safety
The 4-seat version of the Lexus LM is equipped with a partition between the front and the rear passenger compartments which gets a dimmable glass panel that can be lowered or raised. Features on offer include airline-style recliner seats, a 48-inch TV, a 23-speaker surround-sound audio system, pillow-style headrests, along with separate front and rear audio output.

Other noteworthy features include fold-out tables, heated armrests and ottomans, several USB ports, wireless phone chargers, reading lights and vanity mirrors, a fridge, rear gloveboxes and an umbrella holder. Noise-reducing wheels and tyres, active noise control, and a digital rear-view mirror are other additions.

Safety is taken care of with Lexus Safety System+ 3 suite of ADAS tech that includes vehicle detection - stationary/preceding vehicle, dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, automatic high beam, blind spot monitor, safe exist assist and more.
