Jawa Yezdi and BSA Showcase Motorcycle Performance at NATRAX Test Track
Classic Legends conducted a track experience at NATRAX, where media and experts evaluated the BSA Gold Star 650, Jawa 42 FJ, and Yezdi Adventure, assessing their speed, handling, and braking capabilities in a controlled test environment.
Classic Legends hosted a track experience event at the National Automotive Test Tracks (NATRAX), offering motorcycle experts and media representatives an opportunity to assess the performance of the BSA Gold Star 650, Jawa 42 FJ, and Yezdi Adventure. The event was conducted at Asia’s largest high-speed testing facility, allowing participants to evaluate the motorcycles in a controlled environment.
During the event, the BSA Gold Star 650 was tested for its high-speed performance, reaching speeds exceeding 160 km/h on the straight track. The motorcycle, powered by a 652cc single-cylinder engine, demonstrated smooth torque delivery and stability during cornering. Riders noted the effectiveness of its Brembo braking system in handling high-speed deceleration.
The Jawa 42 FJ, equipped with the Alpha2 engine producing 29.2 PS and 29.6 Nm of torque, was evaluated for its handling and acceleration. Its longer wheelbase and ground clearance contributed to stability on the track, while the dual-channel ABS and disc brakes ensured controlled braking under high-speed conditions.
The Yezdi Adventure was assessed for its track adaptability despite being designed for off-road use. The 334cc liquid-cooled engine, delivering 29.6 PS and 29.9 Nm of torque, provided responsive acceleration. The longer-travel suspension system helped maintain stability at high speeds, making the motorcycle suitable for long-distance touring.
Alongside the track tests, Classic Legends also introduced the "Jawa Yezdi BSA Ownership Assurance Programme," offering a standard four-year or 50,000 km warranty, with extended coverage options of up to six years. The programme is aimed at providing additional ownership benefits in the mid-capacity motorcycle segment.
The NATRAX event allowed industry experts and media to evaluate the performance of the motorcycles across different riding conditions, highlighting Classic Legends’ focus on blending classic styling with modern engineering.
