Ducati and Lamborghini to Unveil New Collaboration at Milano Design Week
The brands highlight their shared racing DNA with another collaborative project.
Ducati and Lamborghini, will unveil their latest collaborative project during Milano Design Week on April 9. The announcement marks the continuation of a partnership rooted in shared values like performance, design innovation, and the authenticity of 'Made in Italy.'
Previous collaborations include the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, inspired by the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, introduced in November 2020 in a limited edition of 630 units. This bike incorporated lightweight carbon fiber components and combined design input from both the Ducati and Lamborghini Centro Stile teams. In 2022, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, inspired by the Lamborghini Huracán STO, debuted at the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix in another limited run, further strengthening the collaboration.
Ducati, founded in 1926, is recognized for producing high-performance motorcycles that embody innovation and style. Lamborghini, established in 1963, is synonymous with luxury and powerful super sports cars. Their collaboration stems from shared values such as pioneering design, precision engineering, and the authenticity of 'Made in Italy.'
The partnership began with a unique project in 2020, when Ducati launched the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, inspired by Lamborghini's Sián FKP 37. This motorcycle featured carbon fiber components and design elements created in collaboration with Lamborghini's design center, highlighting the synergies between the two brands.
In 2022, they unveiled the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, inspired by Lamborghini's Huracán STO. Both projects were limited editions that combined the performance DNA of motorcycles and supercars, laying the foundation for their continued joint ventures.
