Billion Electric Mobility Appoints Sanjeev Kulkarni as CEO
Billion Electric Mobility has named Sanjeev Kulkarni as its Chief Executive Officer. With extensive experience in the automotive and manufacturing sectors, he will focus on expanding the company's e-MaaS business and strengthening industry partnerships.
Billion Electric Mobility (BillionE), an E-Mobility-as-a-Service (eMaaS) platform, has appointed Sanjeev Kulkarni as its new Chief Executive Officer. Previously serving as Chief Operating Officer, Kulkarni brings over three decades of experience in the automotive and manufacturing sectors, specializing in business expansion, product development, and strategic execution.
With a background that includes leadership roles at Bosch Limited in India and Germany, as well as Kalyani Group in Pune, Kulkarni has overseen large-scale projects and developed key partnerships with OEMs. His leadership has contributed to revenue growth and market expansion. As CEO, he will focus on scaling Billion Electric’s e-MaaS business, particularly in the heavy-duty electric truck segment and airport tarmac electric buses. Strengthening industry partnerships and accelerating the rollout of commercial EV solutions will also be among his key priorities.

Pirojshaw Sarkari (Phil), Lead Advisor to Billion Electric Mobility, remarked that the company’s "Energy on Wheels" concept differentiates it from traditional transport models, making Kulkarni’s leadership experience highly relevant.
