Tata Motors Group’s global wholesales up 9% in October
The Group’s cumulative wholesales for the fiscal stood at 639,386 units, higher by 12%, over FY2015-16.
After crossing the one lakh sales mark in September, the Tata Motors Group continued its strong performance in October 2016 with global wholesales of 101,057 units, 9% more than the same month last year.
The Group’s cumulative wholesales for the fiscal stood at 639,386 units, higher by 12%, over FY2015-16.
The global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in October 2016 were 36,921 units, higher by 18% compared to October 2015. The cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for the fiscal were 226,812 units, up 7% year-on-year (YoY).
The global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in October 2016 were at 64,145 units, higher by 4% compared to October 2015. The cumulative passenger vehicle wholesales for the fiscal were 412,574 vehicles, up 15% YoY.
Meanwhile, Jaguar Land Rover’s global wholesales stood at 47,390 vehicles (includes CJLR* wholesales of 6,323 vehicles). Jaguar wholesales for the month were 15,308 vehicles, and cumulative wholesales were 93,498 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 32,082 vehicles, while its cumulative wholesales no. were 227,453 vehicles. Cumulative wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal were 320,951 vehicles.
