Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) is the latest two-wheeler manufacturer to provide free vehicle check-up & service drive for Honda customers in wake of the raging floods of Tamil Nadu. The drive will continue till December 24, 2015. The activity has been specially organized for the flood-hit areas requiring immediate vehicle service. Apart from Honda, TVS, India Yamaha, Bajaj Auto and Royal Enfield are some other two-wheeler OEMs to set-up free service camps in the state of Tamil Nadu.
A total of 81 Honda Authorized Network across Chennai (58), Kanchipuram (12) and Cuddalore (11) have been activated to provide free check-up and free engine oil for all flood affected Honda two-wheelers. Additionally, labour charges would be borne by the company. For the two-wheelers affected in remote locations, Honda Mobile Service Vans (MSVs) and Service-On-Wheels (SOWs) have been deployed for their service and restoration.
Keita Muramatsu, president & CEO, HMSI, said, “In this wake of recent devastating calamity, Honda is committed to rebuild the lives of our customers and address their needs for mobility. This contribution is a way of expressing solidarity with the people of Tamil Nadu, as they start to rebuild from scratch.”
The customers can enroll their affected vehicles on Honda’s toll free customer care number: 1800-103-3434. Customers can also visit their nearest Honda Authorized Network for a free vehicle check-up.
